The Union Library of Hatboro presents Mr. William F. Schmidt who will share his WWII experiences aboard the USS LST-120
in the southwest & central Pacific, including the Marianas, Saipan and Tinian.
This monthly library series offers first hand accounts of Americans at war. Come hear experiences of our neighbors

FRI., DEC. 5 - TREE LIGHTING & SANTA VISIT|
Tree lighting festivities at the Union Library begin at 5:30pm with music by the Upper Moreland Percussion Ensemble
followed by Caroling at 6 pm. At 6:15pm, Santa Claus will arrive at the library by fire engine and the tree will be
lit at 6:30pm. From 7 to 8pm, children can visit with Santa at the library.

SAT., DEC. 6 - MAIN STREET HATBORO TRAIN SHOW|
Main Street Hatboro's annual model train show feature vendors selling all gauges of model trains and accessories,
as well as operating layouts.
Vendors will also be selling parts for repair and/or restoration of locomotives, rolling stock, operating accessories,
railroadiana collectibles. A "train doctor" will also be on hand to diagnose
or treat all train "ailments" as well as providing test tracks.

||Purchase a Brick for "The New Tanner Park"|
Elm Street Hatboro, The Hatboro-Horsham Kiwanis Club, in conjunction with the Hatboro Village Players, is constructing a lighted, paved, walkway into Tanner Park to replace the old macadam walkway. Monies raised from the sale of engraved bricks are used for new playground equipment, and to upgrade the entire Tanner Park.
