HATOBERFEST SCARECROW & WINDOW CONTEST October 21st. 2006
Hatboro-area residents, businesses, community organizations, school and youth groups were invited to participate in the window-painting and scarecrow-building contests as part of HatOberFest. Participants created Halloween scenes on assigned shop windows in the central business or created scarecrows which were displayed in front of the shops along York Road. The scarecrows and windows were judged Oct. 21. Cash prizes were awarded to the winners.

SKELETON SCURRY October 28th. 2006
The Hatboro Area YMCA and main Street Hatboro teamed up for the first annual Skeleton Scurry which was held the last day of HatOberFest. The event was hosted by Grover Silcox of WMGK-FM and also featured kid's activities and a raffle. A fun time was had by all!

HatOberFest included historic ghost tours, a window-painting contest for artwork on shops and businesses in downtown Hatboro and a scarecrow contest with entries positioned outside downtown businesses. The Halloween Parade and Costume Contest drew a record number of participants this year, with 15 youngsters - or entire families - toting home trophies for the best attire.

SUMMER FUN FESTIVAL - July 15 & 16, 2005

The weather was perfect and downtown Hatboro was bustling with activity July 15 and 16 when the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Hatboro staged their annual "Summer Fun Festival" which included the Sidewalk Sale, Craft Show & Flea Market, Art Show, live entertainment, special events, free trolley rides and a Pet Rescue Fair.

"THE HATBORO HOP" FIFTIES DANCE - May 21st, 2005

10 Couples Capture Prizes in 'Hatboro Hop' Dance Contests...
They came to jitterbug, stroll and twist and 10 went home winners from the second annual "Hatboro Hop" presented May 21st by the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce.
The '50s dance was one of three events held the weekend of May 20th in a 60-by-80-foot luxury tent erected behind Hatboro Federal Savings in downtown Hatboro.

"THE HEART OF HATBORO" BOROUGH BALL - February 12th, 2005

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce celebrated "The Heart of Hatboro" Feb. 12 with its biennial Borough Ball at the Williamson Restaurant in Horsham. The "Distinguished Citizens" awards were presented during the evening.
The 2005 winners, nominated by Hatboro residents and business people and selected by a Chamber committee chaired by Robert M. John of Schneider, Nixon & John were:
- Service To Community - Hatboro resident Robert McDowell
- Service to Youth - Hatboro resident Walter "Wally" Grummun
- Service to the Public - The Union Library Company of Hatborough - represented by Harriet Ehrsam & John Zygmont
- Service in Business - James and Laura Parto, owners of Joe's Pizza in Hatboro
