Fresh  home-grown produce! EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT - HATBORO FARMER'S MARKET
Every Friday until October 24th, the Farmer's Market features locally grown produce and other handmade and homegrown items in a family friendly market place in the center of Hatboro. Live entertainment and children's face painting! The market will run from 6pm til dusk each Friday evening.

WWI plane WED., OCT. 1 - WORLD WAR I - Part II
The Union Library's War Stories Speaker Series welcomes back John D. Shepherd to continue the 100th Anniversary Commemoration of World War I - "The Echoes of the Guns of August". He discusses the use of weapons, trench warfare, battle plans plus a description of the Alsace, Lorraine, Belgium & Tannenburg battles and the race to the sea.
Time: 7 pm. Free.
Location: Lehman Methodist Church, 300 S. York Rd., Hatboro


SAT., OCT. 18 - ROCKOBERFEST IN THE 040!
Rocktoberfest in the 040! is a benefit event sponsored by local Hatboro residents and business owners. Proceeds will be donated to various Hatboro beautification projects throughout the boro! Ticket prices are $30 each pre-purchase or $35 at the door. Includes food, beer and entertainment!
Time: 4pm - 9 pm.

SHOEBOX RECYCLING
The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Shoe Box Recycling to help others less fortunate. We will be collecting on-going shoes to help those in need. Shoes can be dropped off at the following locations:
---Chamber Office - 120 South York Road (Red Barn Mall), Suite 6
---KP Kitchen Crafts - 222 South York Road
---Heise Accounting - 55 North York Road

Purchase a Brick for "The New Tanner Park"
Elm Street Hatboro, The Hatboro-Horsham Kiwanis Club, in conjunction with the Hatboro Village Players, is constructing a lighted, paved, walkway into Tanner Park to replace the old macadam walkway. Monies raised from the sale of engraved bricks are used for new playground equipment, and to upgrade the entire Tanner Park.
